USC Law's first International Food Fair, hosted by the Graduate and International Programs office, was held to bring the law school's American and international students together and introduce the many cultures that are represented in the student body.

Sharing food and beverages from around the world is a great way to do that, says Masahisa Mitsunaga, an LLM student from Japan and Student Bar Association representative.

"Food is definitely a big part of the culture of each country," he said.

A number of international students' families also attended, and some spent hours in the law school's kitchens preparing home-cooked food to share.

Based on the large number of attendees, and an eventual shortage of plates, the Graduate and International Programs staff hopes to make the fair an annual event.
