Legal scholars, philosophers and social scientists to take part in multidisclipinary study at USC Law


The USC-Caltech Center for the Study of Law and Politics and the University of Texas Law School are co-sponsoring the Rule of Law Symposium March 26-27 in the Carl M. and Carolyn C. Franklin Faculty Lounge at USC Law.

The event — a multidisciplinary study that involves legal scholars, philosophers and social scientists — will focus on defining the concept of the rule of law. Professors Elizabeth Garrett, Andrei Marmor, Mathew McCubbins and Daniel Rodriguez will serve as co-hosts.

USC Law faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to attend. The symposium will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, and from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 27. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
