USC Saks Institute Holds Symposium on Monday

“Supported Decision-Making: Giving Mental Health A Voice,”


Mayor of Sacramento and his daughter will discuss their family’s personal journey with mental illness


WHAT:The USC Saks Institute for Mental Health Law, Policy, and Ethics is holding a symposium on “Supported Decision-Making: Giving Mental Health A Voice.” The event, organized by Prof. Elyn Saks, will be moderated by Ben Carey, New York Times reporter

WHEN:Monday, April 24 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

WHERE: USC’s Town and Gown

WHO: The lunchtime keynote talk will feature Mayor Darrell Steinberg and his daughter, Jordana Steinberg. They speak about their family’s personal journey with mental illness.
