Student awarded for law review note

Michelle Layser wrote about trans fat laws

A Southern California Law Review Note about trans fat laws has earned Michelle Layser ’09 the Annual Health Law Student Award from the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics.

Layser is senior content editor for the Law Review and a member of OUTLaw.

After graduation, she will join Latham & Watkins, LLP as an associate.

Professor Alex Capron presented Layser with a plaque commemorating her award.
