Commencement ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 16
The USC Gould School of Law will hold a commencement ceremony for the Class of 2008 on Friday, May 16.
Dean Robert K. Rasmussen will offer welcoming remarks to the graduates and their guests, followed by reflections from 3L Class President Shiri Klima and LL.M. Candidate Peter Steinwachs.
Erwin Chemerinsky, inaugural dean of the University of California, Irvine, Donal Bren School of Law, will present the keynote address. A member of the USC Law faculty for 21 years, Chemerinsky since 2004 has served as the Alston & Bird Professor of Law and Political Science at Duke Law School.
Tickets are not required for the ceremony or the reception, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those who are unable to attend the ceremony, USC Law will offer a live webcast that may be viewed here. Parking is free of charge on commencement day.
