For the third straight year, USC Gould School of Law has been named one of the Top Ten Best Law Schools for Hispanics. The rankings, compiled by Hispanic Business Media, appear in the Sept. 2011 issue of Hispanic Business Magazine.

USC Law appears at number 10 on the list. To determine the rankings, the editors consider such measures as percentage of student enrollment that is Hispanic; number of J.D. degrees awarded each year to Hispanic students; number of faculty who are Hispanic; and strength of Hispanic student organizations and activities.

“We are proud to have USC Law recognized both for our excellence and our commitment to diversity,” Dean Robert K. Rasmussen said. “The two are obviously intertwined. Professional leaders of the 21st century must be able to rigorously engage with a diversity of opinions, attitudes and beliefs across the world. There is no majority in the emerging world.”
