This course will explore the ethical, legal, and privacy implications involved with using Artificial Intelligence.
This course will explore some of the fundamental tenants of the tech, its current applications, legal structures and challenges, and potential future applications.
This course covers the new legal issues raised by computer crimes. It addresses how digital crimes challenge traditional approaches to the prohibition and investigation of criminal activity.
This course is designed to provide students with an overview of common legal issues impacting both providers and users of Internet services. It focuses on real-world application of emerging law to the business of the Internet.
This course will delve into the foundational concepts of AI, equipping students with the necessary vocabulary and knowledge to understand AI's applications and limitations.
This course will address the evolving issues present in using generative AI to produce commercial products and services. Specifically, it will address the implications of generative AI in copyright, trademark, and trade secrets (“intellectual property rights”). It will also cover digital identities and issues relating to likeness, social media, and social interactions.
Courses completed as a part of the standalone Law and AI certificate may be applied to our 1 Year LLM or LLM Privacy Law and Cybersecurity for those who chose to apply, are admitted and enroll in either degree.
However, courses used toward a degree completed at USC Gould or another university may not be applied toward this certificate.
