Clinics and PracticumsThis seminar is designed to provide students with guidance in research and writing on “private law” topics for purposes of publication in law reviews and legal practitioner journals. “Private law” is understood to encompass contracts, torts, property, corporate and business organizations, bankruptcy, financial services and securities regulation, intellectual property, privacy, consumer protection, and antitrust law. Administrative and regulatory areas of law will also be considered, provided the proposed research project involves economic or empirical methodologies and concepts. Constitutional, criminal, and public international law topics fall outside the scope of the seminar.
