Judicial clerkship reception

First- and second-year students, USC Law alumni and 23 Southern California judges attended a judicial clerkship reception at the California Club downtown on April 4.

Clerkship Reception at California ClubThe cocktail reception provided an opportunity for students to mingle with judges in an informal setting and learn more about the benefits of clerking.

Speakers during the evening included former clerk David Walsh '85, Dean Edward J. McCaffery, District Court Judge Howard Turrentine '39, District Court Judge Alicemarie Stotler '67, Court of Appeal Judge Richard Paez.

The Honorable Howard B. Turrentine Fund sponsored the event.
