USC Law to hold 35th Annual Trust and Estate Conference

Six timely discussions highlight the continuing education event
 
WHAT: The USC Gould School of Law is holding its 35th Annual 2009 Trust and Estate Conference, a daylong continuing education event customized for trust, estate and probate professionals. The conference, formerly the Probate and Trust Conference, has a proven track record of teaching practical and realistic solutions to typical problems one might encounter in estate planning, trust administration, probate, trust and estate litigation, client relationships and law practice economics.
 
WHO: Panel discussions led by conference faculty include:
 
*Annual Update: Recent Developments in Probate and Trust and Their Practical Applications, led by Professor John J. Barcal (USC Leventhal School of Accounting), and attorneys Jeffrey A. Dennis-Strathmeyer and David Lane
 
*Threshold Post-Mortem Issues: Heggstad Petitions, Professional Practices and Asset Character, led by Linda J. Retz (Law Offices of Linda J. Retz)
 
*Psychology and the Law: How to Deal with Family Crises, led by Rabbi Zoë Klein (Temple Isaiah)
