Summer Law and English (SLE)
USC Gould offers convenient, private, secure and fully furnished university housing at a competitive rate for students in our four-week Summer Law and English (SLE) intensive. Our housing complex is located just a short walk from the law school.
The latest addition to the USC Housing community, the USC Village offers apartment-style accommodations that are part of a beautiful five-story edifice. Clad in the university's signature brick and cast stone motif, the buildings are both impressive and functional. The first floor is devoted to common areas and facilities and the student apartments are on the upper floors. The second floor has a large courtyard, offering a great place to gather with friends or study. If you choose to live in the USC Village apartments during SLE, you may select a two-bedroom apartment or three-bedroom apartment with another same-gendered SLE participant.
- Furnished apartments with full kitchen (oven, stove and refrigerator), shared bathroom, living room and dining area
- Linen packet (pillowcase, sheets and towels) along with pillow and blanket
- Security with card-reader lockers
- Recreational facilities
- A Customer Service Center devoted to assisting residents
The USC Village apartments are in an ideal location for recreational, retail, and dining options. Retail and dining options at the USC Village include Target, Trader Joes, FedEx, Starbucks, Whalburgers, CAVA, Bank of America, Amazon, and more. If you apply for campus housing, you are required to pay a housing application fee of $100. Campus housing fees are in addition to the SLE tuition and university fee. The cost of campus housing for SLE is $1,450 (shared room).
To secure university housing, you must apply by the deadline.
If you also applied for academic-year housing, you will move to that complex upon completion of SLE.
Note: We unfortunately do not provide on-campus housing for students with minors (children under 18 years old). For students with families, please refer to the non-campus housing options below:
