💻 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
Starting 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the JD electronic application can be found on the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) website.

🗃️𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆
All applicants, whether taking the LSAT or GRE, must register for LSAC’s Credential Assembly Service. The CAS Report, provided by LSAC, contains your official transcripts, LSAT score(s), LSAT Writing sample(s), and letters of recommendation.

📚 𝑳𝑺𝑨𝑻 𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝑹𝑬 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔
We will not consider any LSATs taken after the February 2025 administration nor GREs taken after March 1, 2025. We consider all scores going back 5 years.

🎓𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒔
Official transcript(s) for all post-secondary education, including graduate-level coursework, must be sent directly to LSAC. LSAC will evaluate each transcript and calculate your cumulative undergraduate GPA, but not your GPA for graduate-level coursework, which will be considered subjectively.

📃 𝑳𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
We require two letters of recommendation and will accept a maximum of three.

📝 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕
The personal statement is your primary opportunity to discuss who you are beyond the application basics. We are particularly interested in how your background (academic or otherwise) has led to your decision to study law.

💼 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒆
You are required to submit a résumé that illustrates your work history, volunteer commitments, extracurricular activities, and any awards and/or honors.

The 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒂𝒘 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑱𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 (𝑅𝐿𝑆𝐽) is an honors law journal at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. RLSJ started in 1992 as the Southern California Review of Law and Women’s Rights, but in 2006, starting with the sixteenth volume, the journal expanded its focus and renamed itself to reflect a focus beyond just women’s rights to all issues of social justice.
