Antitrust Law (Spring 2019)

Course Description

This course covers all fundamental areas of antitrust, including cartels and other horizontal restraints, vertical restraints and mergers, as well as practical issues relating to litigation strategy, planning advice and the premerger notification process. The course culminates in discussion and analysis of three recent landmark antitrust litigations against Microsoft, Apple and American Express that have important implications for technology, content and data markets. No prior background in economics is required but students should be prepared to learn and apply basic economic principles.
