Course Description

This course focuses primarily on the Fourteenth Amendment rights to equal protection and due process, with some additional rights such as the right to bear arms.  It includes the theoretical foundations of rights protection as well as the development of doctrine involving such rights as privacy, abortion, and freedom from discrimination on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation and other characteristics.  The Constitutional Rights:  Structure course is a prerequisite to this course.  Enrollment will be capped at 70.
